We are seeking a skilled Developer Security Operations Engineer to join our dynamic team in Ponte Vedra. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining existing DevOps processes and managing the migration to future platforms—ensuring our software is delivered securely, reliably, and efficiently.
You will collaborate with development, internal data operations, internal IT, external data center and security partner teams to automate and scale application deployments across environments including dev, test, staging, and production in bare metal and private cloud environments. As security becomes an increasing priority, your role may expand to include conducting vulnerability assessments, automating security measures, tracking security metrics, and being a key member of the Incident Response Team.

- Maintain current DevOps tools and workflows while leading migration to modern platforms and technologies
- Integrate security best practices into DevOps pipelines to ensure secure software delivery
- Work cross-functionally with development, operations, and security teams to implement scalable and secure solutions
- Stay current with industry best practices and emerging tools in DevOps and DevSecOps
- Respond to and investigate security incidents; participate in incident response efforts
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Strong understanding of security principles and best practices in software development environments
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments and adapt to changing priorities while maintaining attention to security details
- 8+ years of professional experience in roles such as Software Engineer or Site Reliability Engineer•8+ years
- Proven experience in a DevOps or similar engineering role•5 - 10 years
- Strong hands-on expertise with DevOps tools and platforms such as Xen NGCP, OpenShift, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible•5 - 10 years
- Skilled in scripting and automation languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell)•5 - 10 years
- Proficient with CI/CD pipeline development and execution•5 - 10 years
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills•5 - 10 years
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively•5 - 10 years
- Experience building and supporting machine learning pipelines•1 - 2 years
- Experience deploying and managing on-premises orchestration and virtualization platforms•1 - 2 years
- Experience managing infrastructure in bare metal, private and public cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)•1 - 2 years
- Hands-on experience with vulnerability assessments and penetration testing tools•1 - 2 years
- Familiarity with security compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR)•1 - 2 years
