Sales Representative / Account ManagerJohnson Bros. Roll Forming Co
We're looking for a Sales Representative/Account Manager to join our company. As part of our sales team, you will find every day different and rewarding. Using the support of a team with over 70 years of Roll Forming experience, you will learn the industry and build quality customer relationships.
This position will include both sales and some marketing responsibilities. You will follow up on existing inquiries to discuss part requirements, analyze customer drawings, develop relationships, and deliver a finished quote. You will also assist the marketing effort to pursue leads by creating marketing campaigns, cold calling, advertisements, and sending promotion content.
- Pursue prospects by phone, email, and some on-site visits
- Build relationships with customers
- Communicate customer needs to estimator for quoting
- Provide Value-Added Account Services for customers, such as updating shipping dates, providing invoices, tracking inventory, offering production status updates, and answering technical questions
- Work with internal colleagues to coordinate and execute marketing plans to increase lead generation to specific industries
- Develop new sales leads through independent research and actively prospect daily
- Attend trade shows and association networking events
- Familiar with metal fabrication
- Strong people-skills and highly trustworthy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong Multitasking Skills
- Ability to provide superior customer service to clients
- Sales experience•1 - 2 years
- Detail oriented
- Able to take clear and legible notes
- Ambitious self-starter who is willing to learn the metal fabrication industry
- Experience with Microsoft Suite (Outlook & Excel)
- Local Chicago travel as needed
- Metals machine shop experience

- $60k-70k/yr salary with commission, and a yearly bonus
