The California Cat Center is a cat-only boarding and grooming facility. Our greatest concern is safety for all. We do not groom cats that we consider dangerous. Employee safety comes first. We're looking for someone with 1-5 years of experience as a Cat Groomer who can provide professional grooming services for feline clients. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated skills in handling cats safely and effectively while maintaining a calm demeanor. You'll need to communicate well with both the animals and their owners to ensure a positive grooming experience.
- Perform comprehensive grooming services including bathing, brushing, and styling for cats of various breeds and temperaments
- Handle cats with care and patience, especially those that may be anxious or stressed during the grooming process
- Communicate effectively with pet owners about their cats' grooming needs and any health concerns observed during sessions
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods while grooming cats of different sizes
- Commitment to maintaining a clean and sanitized workspace for animal health and safety
