Job Summary
We're looking for someone with 1-5 years of experience as a Veterinary Technician for our Small Animal - Avian - Exotic practice. The ideal candidate will have experience handling a variety of animals including birds, rabbits, pocket pets, reptiles, and traditional pets like dogs and cats. You'll be working alongside an experienced avian/exotic veterinarian who provides excellent mentorship. This position requires strong patient care skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both animals and their owners.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care for diverse animal species including exotics, birds, reptiles, and traditional pets
- Assist veterinarians with examinations, treatments, and procedures while ensuring proper animal handling and restraint
- Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding treatment plans and animal care instructions
Qualifications
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Demonstrated compassion and patience when working with animals and their owners
- Willingness to learn and develop skills in exotic animal medicine

About Us
Full-time/Part-time, veterinary technician for Small Animal - Avian - Exotic practice. We see birds, rabbits, pocket pets, reptiles, tortoises, snakes, dogs, and cats. We have an experienced avian/exotic veterinarian who is a great mentor. We treat the animals and owners and each other respectfully, which requires restraint and patience. Well-developed exotic skills, dentistry skills would be helpful. We are a small clinic so the ability to run the practice software, EzyVet would be helpful. Hiring immediately. We are located in Woodland Hills, CA an affluent neighborhood in the San Fernando Valley, Los Angeles County.
