Job Summary

We're looking for someone with 3-5 years of marketing experience to join our team as a Marketing Manager. The manager will lead day to day marketing initiatives supporting Heartland and Sunnybrook's focus on the customer experience and working in collaboration with the leadership team to develop and execute campaigns and solutions aligned with business goals and objectives. This role will lead planning, execution, and analysis of marketing and communications strategies for all marketing channels, including digital platforms (.com, email, social media). The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, initiating, creating, and overseeing strategic marketing campaigns and web initiatives as well as spearheading proactive digital advertising, marketing, and web solutions with a goal of increasing overall brand awareness and advancement. 

Responsibilities
  • Lead Sunnybrook and Heartland’s day-to-day social media storytelling and strategy including producing, editing, and sharing innovative and appealing content, visual assets, and advertising on all platforms 
  • Design, plan, execute, and maintain all marketing including SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media, and display advertising campaigns 
  • Use social media analytics and research to track key metrics and performance, prepare reports, and make data-driven decisions to increase growth and new audience outreach 
  • Communicate the status of the digital marketing initiatives clearly and effectively to all stakeholders 
  • Monitor program performance to ensure campaign effectiveness, identifying areas of concern and optimizing as needed 
  • Provide thought leadership, identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights 
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages, brainstorm new and creative ideas, optimize the user experience to propel growth strategies 
  • Be up-to-date with the latest digital technologies and social media trends with excellent communication skills and be able to express our company’s views creatively 
  • Maintain and safeguard brand voice and message strategy across networks 
  • Serve as key social media contact during real-time and/or critical, unplanned events 
  • Provide instantaneous intelligence as an issue is spreading and evolving on social media 
  • Exhibit exemplary attendance and punctuality, and comply with company policies and procedures
Qualifications
  • Excellent writing, editing, research, and analytical skills with proven online engagement 
  • High level of technical proficiency and willingness to learn and adapt new technologies 
  • Eye for design and ability to create and repurpose graphics independently within brand standards 
  • Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services 
  • Knowledge of business principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources 
  • Ability to utilize media production, communication, and dissemination techniques and methods 
  • Critical and creative thinker and problem solver with high attention to detail 
  • Proven ability to respond quickly to changing priorities and deliver high-quality work under deadline 
  • Display excellent judgment while operating in a flexible and professional manner 
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • Marketing experience3+ years
  • Willingness to mentor and manage coworkers as the company grows
  • Excellent knowledge of digital media practices, tools, applications, and software, including social media platforms and content management systems
  • Knowledge of website analytic tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends)
  • Experience working with visual and graphic designers
  • Experience in digital campaign strategy and audience targeting
  • Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator
Nice to Have
  • Transportation or logistics marketing experience
  • Premiere Pro
  • InDesign
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript development and constraints
