We seek a candidate with a basic knowledge of home repair or construction (training provided for those eager to learn a new trade). The work is not easy but gives a great sense of meaning and purpose when impacting the lives of the families and communities we serve. Part-time availability of 20–30 hours per week is what we are currently looking for (flexible scheduling based on availability). Most important is a strong work ethic, honesty, and a respectful demeanor (we value a positive, professional attitude with no swearing or undesirable behavior ). Off The List Remodeling is a growing family business looking for help now that will help us bring the business further so we can effect more change and help more people.
- Assist with carpentry work including measuring, cutting, and installing building materials according to specifications
- Operate and maintain basic hand tools safely
- Prepare construction sites, transport materials, and clean up work areas as needed
- Physical stamina to perform labor-intensive tasks throughout a full workday in various weather conditions
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and read basic plans and lists
- Reliable transportation to reach various job sites as required
- High levels of character and desire to learn
