Job Summary

We're looking for a dynamic, results-driven leader who thrives on building and managing their own book of business while driving the overall sales strategy. The ideal candidate will dedicate their time to direct sales, focusing on business development, client acquisition, and relationship management while also leading and mentoring the sales team, optimizing sales processes, and aligning efforts with company growth objectives. This role requires a hunter with an entrepreneurial mindset, strong industry connections, and the ability to inspire and execute at a high level.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the sales team, including outside brokers and broker managers
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key clients, prospects, and strategic partners
  • Develop and execute sales plans, budgets, and strategies based on market trends and company objectives
  • Identify new business opportunities and drive sales growth
  • Monitor market trends, competitive pricing, and industry developments
  • Oversee the launch of new products and programs
  • Develop tailored sales programs that benefit customers, growers, and the company
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to the sales team, fostering a culture of accountability and success
  • Work with the marketing team to ensure brand consistency
  • Travel as needed for trade shows, events, and business development
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team, providing regular performance feedback and developing skills
  • Solicit customer feedback and improve processes, products, and services
Qualifications

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
  • Proven sales management and procurement experience
  • Demonstrated success increasing a company's sales level
  • Direct inside and outside sales experience10+ years
  • Experience managing sales, procurement, and marketing staff5+ years
  • Produce industry knowledge
