Job Summary
We're looking for someone with 6-15 years of experience as a CNC Tool and Cutter Grinder operator. In this role, you'll be responsible for programming, operating, and maintaining CNC machinery for tool and cutter grinding. You'll ensure high-quality output through precise programming and quality inspections. This position requires a strong background in CNC programming, tool and cutter grinding, and quality control processes.
Responsibilities
- Program, operate, and maintain CNC tool and cutter grinding machines
- Perform first-piece and in-process quality inspections
- Optimize CNC programs for efficiency and quality
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and use precision measuring instruments
- Physical capability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 60 lbs
- A Passion for Excellence: A strong drive to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Experience: 6+ years of hands-on experience as a CNC tool and cutter grinder, or a combination of manual and CNC grinding experience totaling 6+ years.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with Walter Tool Studio, Rollomatic Machines, Anca, or similar CNC grinding equipment.
- Bonus Skills: Experience with Walter Helicheck programming is a plus.
