Civil Construction SuperintendentFTS Excavation LLC
We're looking for someone with experience as a Superintendent in civil construction. The ideal candidate will be focusing on commercial construction projects and will have a proven track record in managing multiple teams, large equipment, and public works projects.
The Superintendent is responsible for ensuring profitability, managing jobs efficiently, and avoiding delays or rework. This role requires an organized leader who can lead from the front, as well as manage paperwork, subs, and schedules. They must also be able to utilize project management software and to operate heavy machinery.
- Manage and coordinate multiple teams across various job sites
- Ensure project completion on time, within budget, and to quality standards while maintaining safety protocols
- Collaborate with project estimators, interact with various stakeholders, and handle documentation including RFIs, change orders, and permits
- Ensure safety protocols are followed, and ensure quality control on all projects
- Coordinate with superintendents, estimators, project managers, inspectors, vendors, general contractors, and subcontractors
- Order materials and schedule inspections to prevent project delays
- Maintain and operate heavy machinery when necessary
- Excellent organizational skills to coordinate all aspects of the jobs, including managing general and sub-contractors, crews, job schedules, material orders, inspections, change orders, and project budgets, etc.

- Physically able and highly skilled at operating various heavy equipment including excavators, loaders, dozers, etc.
- Civil Construction experience•10+ years
- Proven experience as a superintendent or in a similar leadership role managing multiple teams
- Extensive knowledge of construction standards
- Able to skillfully operate heavy equipment, including excavators, loaders, dozers, etc.
- Proficiency in project management software and electronic documentation
- Strong understanding of public works processes, including RFIs, change orders, and permits
- Able to pass background and drug test
- Clean driving record
