We're seeking interested and qualified candidates for faculty positions in the Mathematics Department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mathematics. Beyond the Singapore curriculum, Ridgeview offers courses from pre-algebra through number theory, advanced geometry, statistics, and independent studies in linear algebra and differential equations. Not all teachers are expected to teach all course levels. Rather, Ridgeview is seeking applicants who are passionate about their discipline, creative, teachable, and excited to work with a broad range of pupils. Ridgeview neither requires nor prefers candidates with a teacher certification and would rather solicit applications from individuals who have demonstrated academic mastery in the mathematics.
- Teach mathematics courses ranging from pre-algebra to advanced topics like number theory and statistics
- Facilitate cross-disciplinary discussions, connecting mathematics with arts and humanities
- Assess and place students in appropriate mathematics levels to ensure their success
- Demonstrated academic mastery in mathematics, preferably with an advanced degree
- Familiarity with classical education principles and a commitment to defending Western traditions
