We're looking for that next best fit to join our award winning team. He or she has a proven track record in public accounting. Preference will be given to CPA applicants, or those working towards the designation. Enrolled Agent designation is a plus too. Our ideal candidate will have a passion for helping closely held businesses organize, solve tax problems, and grow their business. He or she wants to be part of a close team who like to work hard and have fun doing it. This person enjoys strategizing with business owners and families to achieve their goals.

- Manage a portfolio of clients, providing tax planning, compliance, and advisory services
- Lead and mentor a team of staff accountants, ensuring high-quality work and professional development that enhances the firm's reputation
- Review tax returns and workpapers to maintain firm quality control standards
- Assist in onboarding new clients, setting expectations, and making pricing decisions
- Help prepare tax returns, conduct tax research, and provide guidance on complex tax matters
- Contribute to business advisory services, including valuations, trusts, estates, and process improvements
- Participate in firm leadership activities, including strategic growth initiatives and process improvements
- Develop an area of expertise that supports firm growth, and build relationships in the business community
- Support the team through technical knowledge and culturally aligned leadership
- Driven to learn and grow in management and leadership skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships
- Demonstrated leadership potential and a desire for career growth within the firm
- Humble with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Interest in professional growth, including obtaining advanced certifications (e.g., CVA, MT, MBA)
- CPA License, CPA Candidate or Enrolled Agent designation preferred
- Public Accounting experience with firms that work with Main Street/closely held businesses/executive level clients
- Experience in comparable public accounting firm•4+ years
- Experience with tax preparation and reviewing tax returns of all types of returns
- Strong technical tax knowledge across multiple tax return types
- Business development experience, with a focus on client acquisition and relationship management
- Commitment to building long-term relationships
- Performance metrics based on multiple factors, including client and staff development and retention
