We're looking for someone with 10+ years of marketing experience to join our team as a Director of Media. The ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of media production, strategy, and execution, playing a crucial role in shaping our public image, driving engagement, and helping us become a household brand name in the pro-life movement. This position requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in media management, preferably in a non-profit or advocacy setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing comprehensive media strategies, directing content creation across various platforms, and managing a high-performing team.
- Develop and implement media strategies aligned with organizational goals, collaborating with the Senior Leadership Team to shape strategy
- Direct the production of high-quality video, audio, and written content production for various platforms
- Manage the White Rose YouTube channel, social media, and digital marketing campaigns
- Oversee production of documentaries, including planning, filming, and post-production
- Lead media aspects of major events, such as conferences, marches, and film premieres
- Produce and manage White Rose podcasts, securing high-profile guests
- Maintain consistent brand messaging and protect brand reputation
- Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing media team, fostering a culture of creativity, excellence, and innovation
- Manage department budgets to ensure cost-effective resource allocation
- Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, vendors, and media contacts
- Stay current with media technology trends and implement new tools
- Analyze media performance data and optimize strategies accordingly
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and disciplined, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Strong adaptability to evolving industry trends, tools, and organizational needs
- Ability to lead with conviction, communicate with clarity, and navigate differing opinions with humility and respect
- Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to lead a dynamic and diverse team
- Marketing experience•10+ years
- Experience in a senior leadership role focused on strategic planning and execution•5+ years
- Familiarity with EOS, LMS, or other Management Frameworks
- Strong understanding of pro-life issues and conservative Christian values
- Proven experience in media management, preferably in a non-profit or advocacy organization
- Experience producing high-impact media, including films, books, podcasts, video, direct mail, and social media
- Deep knowledge of both traditional and emerging marketing channels, trends, and best practices
- Success launching high conversion marketing campaigns, managing ad spend, and growing social media audiences and revenue
- Experience in budget management
- Bachelor's degree in Media, Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related field
- Expertise in marketing automation, process optimization, and strategic methodologies
- Advanced degree
