We’re looking for a Traveling Maintenance Technician who’s ready to take on the wild—navigating rugged terrain and performing facilities maintenance at remote sites. If you’re comfortable working in all weather conditions, troubleshooting in remote areas, and tackling hands-on work with determination, this role is for you. We have locations in Moscow, ID, and Honey Brook, PA, but we are open to exceptional candidates from all over the country. Be prepared to travel for 2-3 weeks at a time, work in the great outdoors, and take on exciting challenges!
- Perform general maintenance tasks, including operating and maintaining equipment like walk-behind mowers, brush hogs, and weed-whackers
- Carry out pest control, apply herbicide, and clear vegetation as needed
- Navigate and drive in various terrains and weather conditions, including off-road, sand, snow, and mud
- Troubleshoot small engines and mechanical issues with outdoor equipment
- Ability to work independently and problem-solve in remote locations
- Physical fitness and willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Hard worker who does not give up when faced with adversity
- Eager to be a partner in a growing company
- Experience in farming, landscaping, or other outdoor trade
- Strong driving skills and experience with off-road navigation
- Mechanical Aptitude
- Clean driving record
- Willing to travel for 2-3 weeks at a time
- Pesticide license and/or experience in applying herbicides and pesticides
- HVAC experience
Barneston Property Maintenance is a nationwide facility service company that provides services focused on remote telecommunication sites. Our services include vegetation control, pest control, HVAC maintenance, and general site repairs and maintenance. No site is too remote!
- Competitive hourly wage of $20-$30/hr DOE
