The Software Development Manager role involves managing software and Business Intelligence (BI) developers within the IT Department. These teams are engaged in a wide range of development activities which includes building internal systems, developing integrations using middleware, and extending the functionality of cloud products such as SAP ByDesign and Microsoft Dynamics. In this role, you will work with project managers to set obtainable goals and ensure the successful delivery of project initiatives. You will allocate resources to new projects as well as the maintenance of existing systems.As a manager, this role is responsible for creating training plans and discussing career advancement with their team, guiding them to the next level in their careers. The Software Development Manager will be expected to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects and teams by managing priorities and resources to complete the projects on time.This position will allow one to impact others through a service mindset centered on making an eternal difference.
