Actually the ideal candidate is someone who loves to learn, study, and improve upon how mankind develops our land in America. Site planning skills are the top priority.
- Can you take a Sharpie and sketch a neighborhood site plan on the back of a napkin?
- Can you read a topo map?
- Do you know the difference between a scale and a ruler?
- Did you love Sim City as a kid...the original Sim City, not the new one with weird-looking people in it?
Technical writing and research skills are also very important. And you have to be friendly because nobody wants to work with an up-tight grump who takes themself too seriously.
