Head of EngineeringUpSmith

We are seeking a top rate engineering leader with 10+ years of full stack development experience to lead our Dallas-based team in building cutting-edge technology for workforce productivity in the skilled trades market. This role requires strong leadership skills and a passion for solving complex problems in a fast-paced startup environment.

• Develop early stage features and deploy testing for our core technology product, a vertical SaaS / AI platform for maximizing workforce productivity in skilled trades
• Design and implement full-stack software architecture, functionality, and product roadmap
• Build out core product features and user interfaces for engagement and security
• Develop and optimize data pipelines to incorporate third-party data
• Provide values-driven leadership aligned with UpSmith’s mission to serve customers, partners, and employees in skilled trades businesses

• High level of output and knowledge of modern programming languages and frameworks
• Intellectually curious, eager to experiment and deploy cutting-edge AI applications for our customers
