Job Summary

The Partnerships Director at Life Network is responsible for developing, managing, and optimizing strategic partnerships, affiliate sales, and advertising relationships to drive revenue growth and brand visibility. This role blends strategic planning, relationship management, and operational excellence, focusing on building strong relationships with partners, overseeing advertising and affiliate sales strategies, and ensuring seamless execution of partnership initiatives. The ideal candidate will excel in account management, team leadership, and cross-department collaboration while demonstrating an analytical mindset to optimize performance and drive measurable results.

Responsibilities

Partnerships Strategy & Execution:

  • Develop and implement Life Network's partnership and affiliate strategy to align with revenue goals and growth objectives.
  • Identify, evaluate, and secure strategic partnerships to expand Life Network’s presence and revenue opportunities.
  • Lead new partner acquisition initiatives while maintaining and growing existing partnerships.
  • Oversee and implement partner activations, contract negotiations, and agreement renewals to ensure alignment with organizational priorities.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Content, and Operations teams to integrate partnerships into campaigns and initiatives.

Affiliate Sales & Management:

  • Manage and optimize affiliate sales programs, ensuring partner offers, links, and discount codes are current and functional.
  • Oversee the Affiliate Link Request Project, including creating, maintaining, and auditing affiliate links, codes, and dashboards across platforms (e.g., Air-table, WordPress).
  • Monitor affiliate program performance, track key KPIs, and generate detailed quarterly performance reports.
  • Proactively audit top-performing affiliate partners for expired links, broken discount codes, and outdated promotions.
  • Communicate directly with partners to resolve technical issues, update links, and enhance collaboration.

Account & Partner Relationship Management:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for high-value partner relationships, ensuring consistent communication and collaboration.
  • Manage partner communications via tools such as Asana and ensure alignment with campaign timelines and deliverables.
  • Maintain the Ben Partner Review Board for streamlined communication and updates across partnerships.
  • Coordinate with partners to ensure all assets, copy, and promotional materials are received on time.
  • Oversee affiliate and partner invoicing, payment collection, and reconciliation in collaboration with the Accounting Team.

Advertising Sales & Coordination:

  • Oversee podcast advertising sales, including ad copy coordination, dynamic ad insertion, and tracking in platforms such as Omny and WordPress.
  • Manage media sponsorship campaigns, ensuring assets and deliverables meet partner expectations.
  • Track sales performance metrics, ensuring alignment with campaign goals and revenue targets.
  • Create and manage sponsorship calendars for media campaigns, podcast ads, and promotional content.

Cross-Department Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with the Content and Marketing Director to ensure alignment between partnership goals and marketing campaigns.
  • Work closely with the Operations team to streamline workflows, optimize processes, and improve efficiency in partner activations.
  • Coordinate with the Content team to ensure seamless integration of partnerships into digital content, email campaigns, and social media promotions.
  • Provide ongoing training and guidance to cross-functional teams on partnership strategy, affiliate tools, and reporting dashboards.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting:

  • Track, analyze, and report on partnership and affiliate sales metrics, including ROI, engagement rates, and campaign performance.
  • Generate monthly and quarterly reports with actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Monitor affiliate dashboards for ongoing campaign performance and troubleshoot discrepancies in real time.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for partnership reporting and documentation.

Technology, Tools & Innovation:

  • Leverage tools such as Asana, Airtable, and Google Workspace to manage tasks, track performance, and organize partner assets.
  • Research and implement emerging technologies and software solutions to optimize partnership workflows and affiliate management.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and best practices in partnership sales, affiliate marketing, and podcast advertising.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in affiliate sales, partnership sales, or strategic account management, ideally in a media, health, or wellness organization.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful partnership and affiliate strategies.
  • Experience managing affiliate programs and digital advertising campaigns across platforms.
  • Proficiency with Airtable, Asana, WordPress, and CRM tools.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and turn insights into actionable strategies.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and collaborate across teams.
  • Familiarity with media sales principles and podcast advertising best practices.
  • Adept at building and nurturing long-term relationships with partners and stakeholders.
  • Experience in the health, wellness, and biohacking industries.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce affiliate programs and digital ad sales platforms.
  • Strong understanding of SEO strategies and digital marketing funnels.
  • Experience with contract negotiation and management via tools like DocuSign.
