Job Summary

The Assessment Coordinator plays a pivotal role in developing, implementing, and overseeing assessment strategies to enhance organizational effectiveness in both academic and non-academic units within the university.  This role requires a blend of research and analytics experience to develop, implement, and oversee assessment strategies that enhance organizational effectiveness and support continuous improvement initiatives across various university units.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to design assessment strategies aligned with university goals and accreditation standards
  • Oversee implementation of assessment tools and methodologies across academic and non-academic units
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret assessment data to provide actionable insights for performance improvement
  • Prepare detailed reports summarizing findings, trends, and recommendations
  • Train faculty, staff, and administrators on assessment best practices, data collection, and analysis techniques
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards
  • Identify opportunities to enhance assessment practices and promote a culture of continuous improvement
  • Foster collaboration and transparency among stakeholders involved in assessment activities
  • Research emerging trends and integrate innovative assessment methodologies into university practices

Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in research design, data collection, analysis, and reporting in a higher education context
  • Experience with higher education accreditation processes and standards3 - 5 years
  • Knowledge of assessment principles, methodologies, and best practices in higher education settings
  • Master's degree or higher in relevant field (education, psychology, statistics, social sciences)
  • Statistical analysis software (e.g. SPSS, R, SAS)
