Service TechnicianBitterman Scales

We're looking for someone with 5-10 years of mechanical experience to come work as a Service Technician. The ideal candidate would be physically fit, an intelligent problem-solver, and ready to work. You'll be responsible for repair, calibration, installation, and consultation for businesses’ weighing equipment needs.

• Load and unload materials for work.
• Travel to locations to perform scale calibration, installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair
• Perform periodic scale calibration and maintenance agreements
• Conduct load strain tests using certified test weights up to 100,000 lbs

• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Excellent work ethic
• Willing to obtain a CDL license
• Able to lift and maneuver up to 100 lbs
• Can be taught the operation and function of many different brands and types of scales and associated equipment
• Ability to read and interpret documents, manuals, schematics, and blueprints
• Willing to learn and become proficient with business software programs

We provide scale calibration, installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair; Periodic Scale Calibration and Maintenance Agreements; and Certified test weights for load strain tests.

• Competitive hourly wage of $18-$40+/hr DOE
