More about You:Your key responsibilities will include:<ul><li>Maintain and improve cost accounting systems and procedures</li><li>Perform cost variance analysis, including PPV, labor, overhead, and material variances</li><li>Maintain and update standard costs of raw materials, labor, and overhead</li><li>Monitor and report on cost performance and identify areas for improvement</li><li>Assist budgeting and forecasts team with items related to inventory and cost accounting</li><li>Support internal and external audits by providing necessary cost-related data and analysis</li><li>Maintain G/L accounts for inventory across multiple facilities, ensuring compliance with accounting standards</li><li>Perform inventory reconciliations at period end and investigate variances accordingly</li><li>Coordinate annual and periodic physical inventory counts with the inventory team to ensure accuracy</li><li>Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual cost reports&nbsp;</li><li>Participate in special projects as needed, providing support to financial initiatives</li></ul> Experience &amp; Education:<ul><li>Minimum bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, Masters preferred.</li><li>CPA preferred.</li><li>Minimum 6 years of accounting experience, with 2-4 years specializing in cost accounting.</li><li>Excellent organizational and time-management skills.</li><li>Advanced in Microsoft Excel and Word required.</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Proficiency with ERP type accounting software.</li></ul> Pay: Starting range with bonus: $80k-$100k.
