We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Mohs Surgery Histotech to join our dynamic surgical team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity for the right candidate, though we may also consider a part-time position.
As a Mohs Histotech, you will play a crucial role in the preparation and processing of tissue samples, supporting our Mohs surgery practice. While experience in histotechnology is welcome, it is not required, as we are committed to training the right individual who demonstrates a strong willingness to learn and grow within our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process Mohs surgical specimens in a timely and efficient manner.
- Perform routine histological procedures, including embedding, sectioning, and staining of tissue samples.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety and regulatory guidelines.
- Collaborate effectively with the surgeon and other team members to ensure optimal patient care.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma; an associate or bachelors degree in a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality work.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume surgical practice.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively within a team.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic healthcare environment.

• Certified Histotechnologist (HT/HTL) with training in Mohs surgery or experience in frozen sectioning preferred
