Senior Tax AccountantSpivey & Morton CPA, PA
Our firm is currently seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing business, individual, estate, and trust tax returns, as well as reviewing returns prepared by junior accountants. You will work closely with firm management while building professional relationships with clients to meet various financial needs, including tax planning and projections. Applicants should have a bachelor’s or master’s degree, their CPA credential, and at least five years of professional tax experience.
- Preparation of corporate, partnership, individual, estate, and trust tax returns, including multi-state returns
- Review of all said returns prepared by junior accountants
- Compile supporting financial statements and documents
- Assist with federal and state tax audits
- Respond to inquiries from regulatory agencies
- Work closely with clients throughout the year regarding tax planning and projections
- Perform tax research, staying current on tax law changes
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently, as well as in a group
- Capable of managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines on time
