Senior ScientistVeloxity Labs
We're looking for someone with 3+ years of industry laboratory experience to lead our team of scientists at our bioanalytical laboratory supporting the pharmaceutical and biotech industry. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude and have experience working in a CRO and/or pharma/biotech setting. This role involves leading laboratory work, serving as a principal investigator, managing staff, and promoting scientific excellence.
- Manage laboratory operations, including staff organization and task assignments
- Serve as the primary contact for sponsors and coordinate study objectives with study directors
- Train scientists in data analysis, sample preparation, and LC-MS techniques
- Develop and optimize analytical methods and improve lab efficiency
- Ensure the highest level of data quality and promote industry awareness of Veloxity Labs
- PhD in chemistry/biochemistry with at least 3 years of relevant laboratory experience, but a BA or MS with 5+ years of experience will also be considered
- Strong team player who can mentor junior scientists and foster an environment of professional development
- Experience developing and validating LC-MS/MS-based bioanalytical methods
- Excellent documentation and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Cheerful, grateful, and generous, especially to coworkers
- Responsible and eager to take ownership of projects
- PhD in Chemistry/Biochemistry and laboratory experience•3+ years
- OR BA/MA and laboratory experience•5+ years
- Experience operating LCMS•2 - 7 years
- OR Bioanalytical CRO experience
- Experience operating LCMS and other quantitative instruments
- Experience with wet chemistry/preparative techniques
- Knowledge of GxP regulations and regulatory agencies
- Microsoft Word
