Deputy HeadmasterRidgeview Classical Schools
We're looking for someone with 5+ years of experience in education leadership to serve as a Deputy Headmaster and oversee the culture of our school. The Deputy Headmaster will play a crucial role in fostering a positive and supportive school culture where students can thrive academically, socially, and morally. They will also stand in for the Headmaster in his absence and assist with the day-to-day management of the school.
- Develop and implement comprehensive character education programs that promote the school's Character Pillars
- Oversee the implementation of fair and consistent disciplinary procedures that uphold school policy and standards of conduct
- Provide guidance and character education to help students navigate difficult situations and make positive choices
- Support students experiencing personal or behavioral challenges
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding student behavior and discipline policies
- Strong understanding of classical education principles and their application to character development
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Empathy, patience, and a compassionate approach to student support
- Commitment to promoting a culture of cooperation, citizenship, courage, perseverance, honesty, integrity, respect, and responsibility
- Bachelor's Degree
- Educational Leadership Role•5+ years
- Willing to uphold school discipline
- Patience with students and parents
- Military experience
- Law enforcement experience
- Understanding of classical education
- WFR, AIARE, or AMGA certification
- Participation in outdoor program
