You’ll work closely with Art Directors, Designers, Digital Marketers, and Marketing Strategists, where your voice and vision will be pivotal in shaping messaging that sets our clients apart. Responsibilities


Strategy & Ideation:

  • Collaborates directly with Marketing Strategy and Creative teams to develop messaging strategies that align with stated client KPI goals and market dynamics, with a special emphasis on integrating social media into the overall content strategy.
  • Spearheads innovation in content strategy, including social media, by leveraging client-supplied and/or internal research materials, and collaborating with the Marketing Strategy team to ensure presentations meet client business objectives.
  • Utilizes the Building a StoryBrand framework by Donald Miller across all platforms to create cohesive and impactful messaging that resonates with target audiences.

Creative Development & Execution:

  • Generates concepts for creative campaigns and broader strategic directives, building on insights provided by the Marketing Strategy team, with periodic focus on enhancing social media engagement.
  • Writes, edits, and proofreads copy for a variety of mediums, including print, digital, video, social media, and broadcast campaigns, ensuring consistency and adherence to client’s brand standards.
  • Pitches creative concepts to marketing managers and participates in internal reviews, offering innovative solutions that span across traditional and digital platforms, including social media when applicable.
  • Researches and integrates best practices for leveraging generative AI technology (i.e., prompt writing) in content creation, including social media content when relevant, to stay ahead of digital trends.

Performance Standards:

  • Demonstrates mastery in utilizing the StoryBrand framework to craft unique and engaging content, occasionally spotlighting successful social media execution.
  • Ensures creative concepts and campaigns offer a distinct and personalized perspective for each client, with a focus on achieving high engagement rates across all channels.
  • Manages project schedules diligently, communicates effectively with the team regarding content strategy progress, and seeks feedback proactively to refine messaging.
  • Maintains awareness of the allocated hours for content creation tasks, communicates with team leaders about scope adjustments, and suggests external support options as needed to meet project goals.


QUALIFICATIONS

Experience / Skills:

  • At least 2 years of professional experience in content creation (including proofreading) within Advertising, Marketing, Public Relations, or related fields
  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Advertising, Marketing, New Media, or a related discipline from an accredited institution
  • A portfolio showcasing agency work that highlights exceptional skills in concept development, storytelling, and effective communication. Work examples in the real estate or hospitality industries are preferred
  • Proficiency in G-Suite or Microsoft Office applications, with a comfort level working in the Mac OS environment
  • Preferred: Experience with social media management tools such as HootSuite, SproutSocial, Buffer, etc
