Land Surveyor - PLS - Office Manager

A well-established and highly respected company specializing in Land Planning, Civil Engineering and Land Surveying seeking licensed Professional Land Surveyor to manage our Mapping and Construction Staking Department.

Qualifications:

• California Registered Professional Land Surveyor (Good Standing)
• Proficient in the operation of recent versions of AutoCAD and Civil 3D
• Proficient in the operation of Survey and GPS Equipment
• Drone Experience, a plus
• 5+ years of demonstrated relative experience in Land Surveying, Boundary Analysis,Subdivision Mapping, Topographic Mapping, Legal Descriptions and Construction Staking

Responsibilities:

• Manages and Coordinates surveys and investigations of land surfaces and preparesTopographic Maps, Boundary Adjustments, Subdivision Maps, Records of Survey and LegalDescriptions. Supervision of Field Survey Operations
• Ensures compliance to all applicable regulations and requirements including boundarycalculations and legal ownership issues
• Ensures projects are completed on time and within budget
• Acts as advisor to the mapping team regarding projects, tasks, and operations
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field of LandSurveying
• Relies on extensive experience, knowledge and judgment to plan and accomplish goals in ahighly professional manner
• Performs a variety of complex tasks relating to Boundary and Topographic Surveying andMapping
• Marketing Survey Services and Preparation of Proposals for new Opportunities
• Leads and directs the work of others
• Oversees and Coordinates the Construction Staking Survey Operations
