Contract Counselor - LPC/LCSW Required - Deer Park, TX 77536

Cenikor is a non-profit organization and one of the largest substance abuse treatment centers in the nation. We are currently seeking a Contract Counselor in our Deer Park, Texas facility. 

JOB SUMMARY:

Provide services, including substance abuse, mental health, family, and grief counseling, to veterans, dependents of veterans, and surviving spouses seeking addiction treatment services. Ensure each client develops the skills necessary to live a life free from substance dependence.

SCHEDULE:  Days and hours will vary based on needs of our client population.

Education:

• Master's degree required

Experience:

• US Veteran strongly preferred
• At least (2) years of experience with Veteran population required
• Two (2) years of substance abuse treatment experience preferred
• Experience with electronic health record system preferred

Licensure Required:

• LPC or LCSW required
