Description

The ERP Support Specialist will support the accounting and finance departments as a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central/Navision subject matter expert. The Internal Support Specialist role will be responsible for supporting our existing ERP software, and assist with data migration, perform normalization and data cleanup during and after implementation and upgrades to Dynamics 365 Business Central. This position will work within the Finance Department, reporting directly to the Executive VP of Finance.

Position Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ongoing support to the existing ERP and with all upgrades.
  • Implement, support, and maintain Company ERP U.S. and Canadian subsidiaries.
  • Assist in the coordination, implementation, execution, training, and completion of Dynamics 365 Business Central upgrade.
  • Supports users in their daily work to help improve and optimize processes.
  • Will identify, troubleshoot and resolve issues; escalate issues and questions as needed.
  • Validate various modules and features as implemented with any software upgrades.
  • Coordinate and assist with end user training including development of system documentation and training materials.
  • Communicates effectively in a timely manner to all levels of staff.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as necessary and assigned.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • ERP experience, specifically with up-to-date Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central/NAV (Navision). Manufacturing and inventory control experience helpful.
  • Possess a reliable and strong work ethic.
  • Excellent people skills with the ability to train, coach, develop teams, and work with all levels of users.
  • Excellent communication and organization skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced team environment and under time constraints.
  • Solid problem solving, consultative and research skills.
  • Strong business and accounting acumen.
  • Use logical, deductive or inductive reasoning.
  • Strong analytical and detail-oriented aptitude; high degree of accuracy is required.
  • Proficient knowledge of a Windows-based computer system and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) software; extensive Excel knowledge.
  • Valid passport or the ability to obtain; able to travel internationally up to 10% of the time.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, IT / IS or a closely related field is preferred. This is a full-time opportunity working from our Corporate location in eastern Idaho - where clean air, clear water, and friendly natives are found!
