Sr. Experience Designer

CaucusRoom is the online campaign headquarters for conservatives to meet one another and get involved in campaigns, causes and clubs near them. We're a startup taking on Big Tech with an exciting tech stack, a supportive management team and a meaningful mission. The Sr. Experience Designer will be joining a fun and talented team of self-starters who love to learn and support one another. The Product team plays a key part in supporting the Brand, Key Results and Strategic Initiatives. The Senior Experience Designer is a self-starter who possesses a broad range of creative skills and technical expertise. This individual will have the ability to create original website materials that captivate our members on behalf of the product department. The Sr. Experience Designer will work with business leaders to support a very diverse member base with varying needs and ensure equity across units, disciplines, and modes of delivery This key role will report to the Product Manager and be committed to implementing the company’s marketing strategy by supporting the organization’s brand efforts and creating innovative web materials. The Sr. Experience Designer will be responsible for developing and designing layouts for the webpages (desktop, mobile and app), emails, digital ads, direct mail, annual reports, PowerPoint templates, presentations, promotional materials, social media posts, signage, and more.  

Responsibilities:

• Acts as a design expert for the brand across all channels.
• Conceptualizes, designs and implements graphics and content, both print and digital, to increase member engagement.
• Creates a template library for all marketing materials. 
• Works cohesively with product management for approved copy and ensures materials adhere to all regulatory guidelines. 
• Identifies design trends and recommends updates to brand guidelines.
• Manages requests for design support from the project list, helpdesk tickets, and calendars.
• Coordinates printing of projects, including verification of colors and materials.
• Promotes a “member first” cultural environment.
• Coordinates a semi-annual (or more) photo and/or video shoot of member testimonials to create a library for use in credit union marketing materials. 
• Helps create and edit videos for use on the website and social media channels.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in graphic design and UX/UI
• Highly skilled in design programs including Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud programs including Illustrator, Photoshop and XD.
