Social Media Manager

 

The task: to promote individual classes and teachers from Kepler on social media, specifically between now and August 31st. Scheduling means this can certainly be done in a "chunk of time" once per week. It would involve creating posts about specific classes, teachers, or sets of classes (like "Summer classes" or "literature options at Kepler). The goal is to have a regular, interesting presence of our classes and teachers as a reminder to families following Kepler that they should register. Will likely involve some minor design work (using/updating/creating graphics for the posts). We have class "highlight" posts from last year that could work as a template, though new ideas always welcome. 

 

Minimal knowledge of Photoshop or equivalent required. Must be able to create/manipulate graphics. 

 

Time commitment: 3-6 hours per week. 

Duration: Through August 31st, to be reevaluated then.  

 

Compensation offer: $15-20/hour (based on experience), which would be 1099 status (self-employed freelance work). You would bill Roman Roads Press for your hours.
