Must possess a class B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsement. Responsible for driving a two-ton truck, usually off-road, while hauling Jet-A and chemicals. Must be able to safely hook up chemical hose to helicopter, mix pesticides/herbicides, and load helicopter with chemicals, as well as fuel helicopter(s) with Jet-A. Check hoppers and tanks to ensure they’re properly sealed, cover hoppers after loading, and clean any spilled chemicals. Perform majority of work duties outdoors for 10-12-hour shifts, or sometimes longer or shorter depending on weather. Must be able to enter and work in confined spaces when required, periodically wear respirator/breathing apparatus and possible chemical Tyvek suit when/where required, for certain job duties. Wear hearing protection within high level noise areas as required. Must be willing and able to work extended hours outdoors during the on-season, often 7 days/week, including weekends, and potentially holidays, with unexpected overtime as needed. Demonstrate a commitment to safety and environmental policies to ensure safe and efficient work practices. Communicate well with others, including supervisors, and do so immediately in case of any abnormalities that could cause deviations from typical work practices. Follow all company policies including chemical safety guidelines. Proficiency in basic math skills to accurately mix chemicals. Must be able to communicate and take direction verbally, often by use of a handheld FM radio and CB. Ability to work independently and as a team. Must be flexible and perform a variety of duties and be able to quickly adjust to change in work schedules and tasks as needed. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with little supervision and be a self-starter. Work typically begins at 4am sharp depending on weather and can last until or beyond dark. Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned. 

Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:    

Must live or be willing to relocate to the Cottage Grove/Roseburg surrounding areas

Must possess Class B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsement

Pass random drug screens

Have acceptable driving record

Able to lift, kneel, and/or carry up to 50lbs

Be reliable and have own transportation

English required

Preferred Experience:

Two or more years driving with CDL a plus

Experience in fertilizer and spray applications

Experience with performing general maintenance on work trucks
