We're Hiring Experienced Carpenters

Ealy Construction is an award-winning, nationally recognized design & build company looking to hire a positive, goal oriented, self-starter to join our team.

Your role would encompass all elements of construction from framing to finish carpentry. We focus on high end residential remodels and light construction projects such as decks, ADUs, etc.

If you have 5 to 10+ years of experience in the field and want to work with positive, smart, and capable carpenters, we would love to hear from you.

Starting at $40,000 - $60,000 annually.

Company matched 401k retirement plan.

Generous time off policies and company holidays.

Minimum requirements:

  • 5+ years of residential carpentry experience.

  • Self motivated and self managing. Much of our work is completed solo and we trust you to manage yourself.

  • Kind, friendly, personable demeanor. We love working with positive people. So do our clients.

What does an average week look like?

Start the week with a 20 minute team meeting to talk about our work for the week and make sure everyone is organized and prepared.

Work solo or with a small team of carpenters and subcontractors on residential remodels and finish carpentry projects. Most days you’ll be working by yourself in a client’s home.

Keep our production manager informed on the progress of the project, customer concerns, delays, etc. as you work.

Supervise junior carpenters and subcontractors where needed. We all know each other and get along well, and the subs we work with are top notch.

Manage yourself and your time efficiently to keep jobs on schedule and our clients happy.

Maintain a professional appearance and polite communication with our clients. Your people skills are just as important as your carpentry skills.

Continue learning and growing in your skills and your trade. You’ll have the opportunity for continuing education and training, and we’re happy to provide you with tools that you need to get the job done right.

What’s great about working at Ealy Construction?

Controlled work hours - we have families and we like to spend time with them. Our work should enhance our lives, not take away from them.

You’ll be able to work close to home. Most of our work is in town or within a 15 minute drive to Pullman.

You’ll work with people that like, respect and support each other. We’re a small company of 6 people, we all work hard and have fun while we do.

You’ll be rewarded for your hard work, with opportunities for production bonuses and profit-sharing. We want to help you thrive and give your family the lifestyle they deserve.

You’ll be supported by your company. The job requires new tools? We’ll order them. Need time off to spend with your family? You got it. We want you to love working here and live the life you want when you’re not at work.

You can work a long career with us. We provide a company matched 401k retirement plan after 1 year of working with us.

You can learn, grow and advance as much as you like.
