  • Create detailed journal entries and post them to the general ledger (GL) to track all income statements and expenses
  • Handle all accounts payable and receivable on a daily basis to make sure each invoice and expense report is accurate
  • Ready our books for monthly reports
  • Follow up with vendors for accounts payable and keep in touch as needed for collections and ensure bills are paid on time
  • Complete other accounting tasks as needed to assist the real estate team
  • Prepare detailed reconciliations for each account to ensure every transaction is accounted for
  • Enter financial data into computer software, making sure all bills and invoices are filed correctly
  • Submit payroll
  • Communicate with Manager and/or Director on work status and client issues that arise 


  • Able to write to and speak with vendors and clients effectively
  • A background in accounting or finance is valuable, but not required
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; 
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills are a must
  • Experience in the real estate industry preferred
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with accounting software such as Quickbooks
  • Some accounting experience is a plus
  • Proven experience in customer service
  • Self-motivated and able to perform tasks independently
  • Highly organized - you’ll be working inside of our CRM and managing the leads and scheduling calls to follow up
  • Email savvy along with demonstrated follow-up skills. - 
  • Ability to be independent and a self-starter; is self-motivated and takes initiative.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects
  • Ability to be inquisitive following a protocol of; who, what, when, where, why and how in interactions.
