Position Summary

The Director of Development will lead and grow the organization's fundraising efforts to sustain and expand this mission-critical work. This role combines major and mid-level donor cultivation, strategic vision casting for fundraising, and department leadership. The Director reports directly to the President and plays a key role in fueling a ministry that confronts abortion and advances the Gospel where it is most needed.

This position reports to the President of Tiny Heartbeats.

• Solicit and secure financial support from major donors, mid-level donors, and other supporters.

• Cultivate and steward long-term relationships with donors to ensure sustained and growing support.

• Develop and cast a compelling organizational fundraising strategy aligned with the ministry's mission and vision.

• Organize and manage the Development Department, including team members, donor databases, lists, tracking systems, and operational processes.

• Collaborate with leadership to communicate the ministry's impact and needs effectively to supporters.

• Contribute to overall organizational growth by turning vision into consistent, mission-sustaining funding.

• Full agreement with Tiny Heartbeat Ministries' Doctrinal Statement (available at tinyheartbeatministries.com/what-we-believe), which affirms fundamentalist Christian beliefs, the inerrancy of Scripture, and the sovereignty of God as described in the Bible.

• Recommendation for ministry by the elders of your local church.

• Strong writing skills for crafting donor communications, proposals, and vision-casting materials.

• Humility and willingness to receive direction from executive leadership (including younger executives).

• Resilience, emotional fortitude, and "nerves of steel" to thrive in a high-stakes, mission-driven environment.

Tiny Heartbeat Ministries is a Christian nonprofit dedicated to glorifying God by winning souls for Jesus Christ and saving babies from abortion. Through frontline outreach (including outside abortion clinics and on college campuses), the use of abortion victim photography, pro-life apologetics, and evangelism training, we equip Evangelical Christians to engage in the hardest conversations and defend the sanctity of life in the Pacific Northwest, across the nation, and beyond.

Salary: $105,300 per year + $16,000 in Benefits
