• Sewing
• Grommeting
• Weeding
• Sign Production
• Site Visits
• Installations
• Repair and Maintenance of Installed Projects
• Perform finishing operations such as weeding, cutting, laminating, grommets and mounting of printed pieces to various substrates.
• Keeping work area clean and organized.
• Team oriented, flexible, and focused on providing a high level of customer service.
• Remains abreast of existing and emerging technologies, processes, products, services and leading industry performance benchmarks.
• Can work overtime or travel when needed.
• Other responsibilities as required on an as needed basis.
• Strictly adheres to Liberty University policies, representing the University in an exemplary manner.
• Works effectively as a team member, embracing and fostering LU’s Christian model and Mission – Training Champions for Christ.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
• This is a non-supervisory role
QUALIFICATIONS AND CREDENTIALS
Education and Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent is required
- Ability to become lift certified
- Vinyl application and/or sign installation experience preferred but not required
- Must possess well-developed communications and critical thinking skills
- No experience needed
- To obtain LU-approved driver certification, individuals must be 21 years of age or older, possess a valid driver’s license with a minimum of five (5) years of documented driving history, and maintain a clean driving record.

Physical and Sensory Abilities
- Required to travel to local and campus locations.
- Required to operate in extreme weather conditions.
- Ability to operate powered and non-powered tools and equipment according to specified safety requirements
- Ability to accurately measure and place graphics prior to installation.
- Ability to operate light hand tools
- Regularly required to hear and speak in order to effectively communicate orally.
- Required to stand, walk, and climb stairs to move about the building.
- Required to climb ladders, work in confined spaces
- Become lift certified
- Handle materials, reach overhead, kneel or stoop in order to conduct business.
- Regularly lift 70 or more pounds.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Work Environment
The essential functions of this position are typically performed outdoors, where weather conditions may vary. However, when working indoors, the environment is climate-controlled, well-lit, and has a moderate to high noise level.
Driving Requirements
Periodic driving of university vehicles may be required for travel in the performance of the essential functions of this position. Proof of a valid Virginia driver’s license, an acceptable DMV record, and liability insurance is required.
