What This Role Is

This is a hands on Technical Support Engineer role focused on business systems and ERP.

You will spend your time inside the system, not around it.

Typical breakdown:

• 50% ERP work (Odoo 16, self hosted)

• 30% IT and systems support

• 20% internal consulting and user enablement

You will partner closely with a senior ERP leader who owns strategy, while you drive execution.

What You Will Be Doing

• Troubleshoot ERP issues in real time and resolve root causes

• Work directly in Odoo including configuration, scripting, and debugging

• Improve workflows across inventory, accounting, and operations

• Support integrations and automation across systems

• Help internal users better understand and use the system

• Serve as the onsite technical presence for the Houston office

What We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate is a technical problem solver who has moved into ERP or business systems.

You likely have:

• A background in software engineering or technical IT

• Experience working with ERP systems such as Odoo, NetSuite, SAP, or Dynamics

• Comfort with Python or similar scripting languages

• Strong ability to understand how systems connect to business workflows

• A mindset of ownership, curiosity, and accountability
