Traffic Signal Service TechnicianAnonymous
We are looking for a Traffic Signal Service Technician who can perform various technical tasks utilizing Traffic Signal Devices, networking, and low voltage power. We are looking for candidates in Delaware and Montgomery Counties, Pennsylvania.
The Traffic Signal Service Technician will be trained to perform emergency and preventative maintenance on traffic signals, control cabinets, controllers, and other technical equipment. Upon completion of training, the Service Technician will maintain, repair, and install traffic signal equipment. You will also be expected to handle power tools and materials for various projects and to lift heavy loads at open, elevated heights. You should also be able to concentrate on performing your tasks and commit to safety rules.
Perform response and preventative maintenance on traffic signal equipment
Troubleshoot electrical/communication issues
Repair damaged equipment
Install upgraded traffic signal equipment
Locate and mark out underground cables/conduits
Work rotating on call shifts for emergency calls
Work after-hours and in a variety of weather conditions
Any other duties as supervisor, the President and CEO may require
