Job Summary
We're looking for someone with 5+ years of experience as an educational leader to serve as our Grammar School Dean. In this role, you'll be instrumental in shaping the student experience while upholding our classical Christian educational philosophy. You will impart Covenant’s vision of classical, Christian education to parents, faculty, and students in pre-K through 6th grades.This position requires someone who is highly organized and can balance administrative responsibilities with clear and gracious leadership to teachers and students.
This is a full-time, 12 month position. Summer schedule is reduced to 20 hours per week.
This person will serve as the administrative leader for pre-K through 6th grades and be responsible to keep an orderly and joyful grammar school in accordance with Covenant’s mission and academic standards. The dean’s leadership extends to five main areas: serving on the administrative leadership team, graciously communicating and enforcing school policies, supporting and encouraging teacher growth, overseeing academic standards and curriculum, and overseeing student discipline and parent partnership.
Bachelor's degree required. Teaching experience (preferably in a classical, Christian school). Passion and acquired knowledge of classical, Christian education. Demonstrated ability to build trust and rapport with teachers, students, and parents. Experience handling sensitive situations with discretion and sound judgment
