Minimum Qualifications
Associate's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related technical field; or equivalent practical experience
2 years of progressive experience in IT support, help desk, or desktop support roles
Proficient in Windows 10/11 and macOS configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting
Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Azure Active Directory)
Foundational understanding of networking concepts: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
CompTIA A+ certification, or demonstrated commitment to obtain within 6 months; CompTIA Network+ preferred
Familiarity with Ubiquiti wireless network equipment (preferred)
Exposure to AWS cloud services (preferred)

Technical Mastery: Configure and deploy Windows and macOS laptops to documented standards, ensuring devices are production-ready before delivery to employees
System Precision: Resolve Tier 1 and Tier 2 help desk tickets within established SLA timeframes with high first-contact resolution rates through systematic troubleshooting
Administration Excellence: Manage user accounts and access permissions in Azure Active Directory and Microsoft 365 with zero unauthorized provisioning errors
Documentation Quality: Maintain accurate, current documentation for device inventory, user accounts, configurations, and support tickets with meticulous attention to detail
Network Competency: Demonstrate measurable growth in network administration skills, including Wi-Fi monitoring and infrastructure support, on an agreed development timeline
Certification Achievement: Obtain CompTIA A+ certification within the first six months of employment through focused study and technical mastery
Knowledge Development: Create and maintain knowledge base articles that reduce repeat support requests and build organizational technical resources

Physical Demands
Color vision required for reviewing network diagrams, charts, and visual dashboards. Ability to sit at a computer workstation for extended periods (up to 8 hours daily). Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds for handling and moving computer equipment.
Work Environment
Climate-controlled office workspace at the Home Office in Southern Pines, NC with access to enterprise IT infrastructure and equipment. Hands-on technical environment with structured communication through Microsoft Teams, clear SLA standards, and opportunities for focused work on device configuration, troubleshooting, and infrastructure projects alongside senior IT staff.
