Humanities Teacher (2026-2027)East Palmyra Christian School
The humanities teacher will teach middle school and/or high school literature and history courses at our growing Christian, covenantal, classical school. This role involves developing and delivering engaging instruction that integrates a Christian worldview with the study of Western civilization's great works and historical developments while nurturing the spiritual and intellectual growth of students.
The ideal candidate must be a committed Christian who is currently an active member of a local Bible-believing church and demonstrates a consistent Christian worldview in both teaching and life. Candidates must hold at least a bachelor's degree or possess qualifying employment history that demonstrates readiness for this teaching role. Preferred majors include History, Humanities & Literature. Though candidates with other relevant educational backgrounds and a demonstrated love for literature and history will also be considered.

Residents enjoy access to Lake Ontario and the Finger Lakes region with its majestic waterfalls. We can reach the Adirondack mountains within three hours for hiking and skiing. The great cities and historical sites of the Northeast are accessible within a half-day drive.
