Quotations ManagerLumen Link

Lumen link is looking to hire a Quotations Manager with 3 – 5 years of estimating experience in the lighting or electrical field. The Quotations Manager will oversee all project quotation activities, ensuring timely, accurate, and competitive bids that support Lumen Link’s sales strategy and profitability goals. This role will manage the quotations team, coordinate with outside sales, and serve as the primary point of contact for project pricing, strategy, and follow-up.

• Lead and manage the quotations department, including workflow, priorities, quality control, and team development.

• Review project specifications, plans, and lighting schedules to develop complete, competitive quotations that meet design and budget requirements.

• Work closely with outside sales, distributors, contractors, and specifiers to define bid strategy, value-engineer solutions, and secure project awards.

• Coordinate pricing with manufacturers, secure special project pricing, and verify quotes align with product specifications and agency programs.

• Ensure all quotes are accurately entered, tracked, and maintained within the agency’s quotation/project management systems until handoff to project management.

• Monitor market pricing and margins to maintain competitive yet profitable quotations across all market segments.

• Support follow-up on key bids, track hit rates, and provide feedback to leadership on trends, opportunities, and risks.

• 3–5 years of lighting or electrical quotations experience with a manufacturer, rep agency, or distributor; prior leadership or team lead experience strongly preferred.

• Strong understanding of commercial lighting and controls products, construction documents, and project bid processes.

• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and standard business software; experience with quotation/ERP platforms (e.g., OASIS, CAHIL, EXERGENT or similar).

• Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Clear, professional communication skills and strong negotiation and relationshipbuilding abilities with manufacturers and customers
