Production Team MemberDouble Dutch Meat Processing (Ulrich Meat Market)

We are looking for a team member that is interested in helping produce, package and share our specialty meat products. Handling raw meats, learning about seasonings, mixing and creating these to create specialty meats as well as the cook processes to finish smoked meats. We will teach you a variety of things in this amazing industry and if you desire in depth training, that is available as well. This team member will be trained in production processes which includes running grinders, stuffers, slicers, tumblers and packaging machines. Learning how to do hand trimming meat cuts for jerky, steaks, roasts and cured meats. We will also train to support the retail area. Shifts that cover 6am-6pm production hours but cook time may require evening availability. Saturday availability is required.

• Ability to lift 60# necessary.

• Desire to learn the art of smoked meat, seasonings, curing and other processes that produce what we create.

• Ability to read recipes and follow them.

• Use a scale for measuring ingredients.

• Attention to detail to follow recipes, produce high quality products, identify packaging issues and prepare goods for the marketplace.

• Most often we have shifts that cover 6am-6pm production hours but cook time may require evening availability. Saturday availability is required.

Knowledge of the meat science, meat processing industry and food service is appreciated but not required. If you are willing to learn, we are willing to teach. Reliability is expected, as a small business you are part of a team, show us your team skills. Ability to self motivate and complete tasks will be noticed.
