The Pierian Operations Manager will oversee the daily operations of the Pierian Gallery, ensuring efficient management of the gallery’s gift shop, events, studio classes, and staff. This role requires strong organizational and leadership skills to coordinate multiple projects and ensure smooth execution of gallery operations. The Operations Manager will work under the direction of the Gallery Director and NSA’s VP of Operations to support the college and Pierian Gallery’s mission. The Pierian Gallery exists for artists, patrons, students, and the public to enjoy and glorify God through fine arts exhibitions, education, and programming.
This part-time position is employed up to 20 hours per week and starts May 1, 2026.

Key Responsibilities:
● Team Management: Supervise, develop, and schedule the Pierian Gallery staff, ensuring
excellence in staff’s professionalism, informed engagement, and welcoming attitude during all
gallery activities.
● Event & Class Coordination: Oversee planning, scheduling, and execution of gallery events,
workshops, and classes with contractors, vendors, and NSA Departments.
● Gift Shop Oversight: Manage the day-to-day operations of the gallery’s retail space, including
inventory tracking, merchandising, and POS system.
● Welcome Desk Management: Supervise the New Saint Andrews College Welcome Desk duties
under guidance from the Gallery Directory and VP of Administration.
● Maintenance: Ensure public and employee spaces are clean and well maintained in coordination
with the facilities and cleaning staff.
● Operational Execution: Implement assigned projects from Gallery Director using approved
resources, ensuring alignment with the College’s goals and policies.
● Compliance & Communication: Maintain open communication with the VP of Operations and
the Gallery Director to ensure operational consistency w/in the gallery’s and college’s programs
and activities.
Minimum Qualifications:
· Strong attention to detail, but able to flex with changes
· Ability to work well with limited supervision
· Excellent communication skills, with a friendly and service-oriented demeanor
· Strong work ethic and impeccable reputation
· Sense of humor
· Member in good standing of a local orthodox, reformed Christian church
· Must be able to sign the college code of conduct and statement of faith
