Production ManagerTenicor

The Production Manager is responsible to lead, manage and be accountable for the Production team. This position is responsible to deliver high-quality products on time and at scale. The Production Manager understands operating using the Theory of Constraints and how to prioritize for throughput, focus on constraints, and drive improvement through disciplined systems that keep the team aligned and accountable. The Production Manager carries full responsibility for product and process quality. This includes defining standards, building systems that maintain them, and ensuring that every item leaving production meets Tenicor’s expectations for excellence.

About the Role

• Lead, Manage, and Hold Accountable: Build and lead a high-performing production team. Clearly communicate Tenicor’s goals and expectations and maintain accountability

• Production Flow: Manage production flow to meet demand using TOC principles. Identify and attack constraints to drive continuous improvement that matters.

• Set Targets & Metrics: Establish and report on throughput, inventory and opex metrics that drive results.

• Production Processes: Standardize, document, and continuously improve systems to optimize throughput, inventory and operation expenses.

• Product & Process Quality: Own product quality from start to finish. Establish standards, monitor performance, and ensure that every product meets Tenicor’s requirements before it leaves the floor.

• Safety: Establish and maintain Tenicor's standards of safety and ensure they are followed by the team.

• (Bonus) Bring experience in production forecasting, planning, or inventory management.

Not core to this role, but additional areas for growth, opportunity and compensation include the following responsibilities:

• Inventory Supply Levels: Maintain optimal levels of supply inventory to meet production needs and demand.

• Production Forecasting: Use sales data, product development plans, and demand insights to develop rolling production forecasts aligned with production flow

• Retail & Special Order Planning: Balance production for standard retail products and special orders to ensure timely fulfillment.

• Product Inventory Planning: Analyze sales data and upcoming product plans to ensure the right products are always available for sale. If it’s not on the shelf, we don’t sell it on our website.
