The Donor Services Coordinator is part of a supportive and collaborative team. This is a great entry-level opportunity with hands-on training and room to learn and grow. Responsibilities include donor and administrative-related outreach, data entry, and helping fulfill donor gifts and benefits. The ideal candidate is friendly and comfortable on the phone, organized, and a reliable team player. This role is a good fit for someone who takes initiative, enjoys staying engaged, and is interested in growing a career in fundraising.
Duties and Responsibilities:
PragerU Donate Phone Line and Email:
- Serves as a point of contact on the PragerU Donor Services Team (phone line and email inquiries)
- Personally handle a high volume of inquiries or determine which inquiries need specialized assistance
- Determine which inquiries have the potential to result in significant gifts and alert the team for further research and follow-up
- Recommend and execute improvements to handling a high volume of inquiries for maximum efficiency and impact
General Administrative:
- Keep accurate records of donor engagements in Virtuous
- Mailing/assembling department items such as letters, proposals, and meeting packets
- Assist with assembling donor gifts, informational packets, etc.
- Other administrative duties, including supporting the Director of Donor Relations as needed
- In support of gift officers, make follow-up calls to donors as needed
- Assist at local donor events and with various donor campaigns as needed
Successful Candidates Will Possess:
- 1-3 years of relative work experience preferred (customer service, sales, fundraising, etc.)
- Proficiency with Google Workspace; demonstrated expertise in Excel
- Experience with databases is strongly preferred
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills and a can-do, self-starter attitude
- Eagerness to work in a fast-paced work environment — and ability to get up to speed quickly, solve problems independently, and juggle multiple assignments
- Strong oral and written communication skills and no call reluctance
- Motivation to develop relationships and work collaboratively across the department and the organization
- Ability to problem-solve quickly
- Excellent project management and planning skills

Compensation Range: The hourly range for this role is $25.00 - $30.00+ per hour.
