We are looking for a candidate to fill the position of Shipping Coordinator at our Los Angeles area based warehouse operation. This person will be part of the Warehouse Management team responsible for organizing and coordinating multiple daily outgoing shipments, as well as tracking and recording incoming shipments of inventory. Some prior experience in fulfillment operations is beneficial. But more critical is a solid proficiency in Excel spreadsheet software. The job requires good organizational and record keeping skills, attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy while handling multiple shipment logistics. Our company provides nationwide retail store chains with display fixtures for their merchandise. Order volume is high and our warehouse crew of approximately 10 and warehouse management team of 6 or 7 work in tight coordination to prep, pack and load multiple truckloads of product weekly, with detailed packing lists and accurate shipping documents for dozens of orders large and small shipping out to stores around the US.

• Perform administrative actions to record and organize documentation for each separate shipment.

• Coordinate with Warehouse Lead on packing schedules and coordinate with customer trucking companies on shipment pickup schedule.

• Prepare shipping documentation functions.

• Maintain accurate outgoing shipment logs.

• Maintain accurate logs of incoming containers of inventory and record transfers of stock between our LA area warehouses.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities simultaneously

• Strong administrative and record-keeping skills

• Good general math skills
