Lead Instrumentation TechnicianValar Atomics
We are seeking a Lead Instrumentation Technician with experience in nuclear power or process industries to lead the installation, calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of plant instrumentation and control systems. This role provides hands-on technical leadership while ensuring compliance with strict safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Lead and perform calibration, testing, and maintenance of field instrumentation (pressure, temperature, flow, level, flux, radiation, and analytical instruments)
Troubleshoot complex instrumentation and control system issues in operating facilities
Supervise and mentor instrumentation technicians and coordinate daily work activities
Ensure work complies with plant procedures, quality programs, and regulatory requirements
Support commissioning, outages, upgrades, and corrective maintenance activities
Maintain accurate calibration records, as-built documentation, and test reports
Requirements:
Proven experience as an instrumentation technician in nuclear power or process industry environments
Strong safety culture and attention to detail
Preferred
Leadership or crew-lead experience in an industrial facility

Compensation is $50.00-$58.00 hourly with 1.5x overtime eligibility.
