Job Summary
The Daily Caller News Foundation is looking for a reporter who can deliver smart, incisive reporting on economic issues that are important to the American public. The candidate needs to excel in a fast-paced environment, be able to meet tight deadlines and juggle multiple projects simultaneously, and build sources both in D.C. and across the country. The ideal candidate should:Be a “self-starter” and driven, proactive, with a passion for working on intense, high-impact tasks.Possess integrity, understand the importance of journalistic trust, and be committed to reporting the truth no matter what. Responsibilities:Content Creation: Research and write business and economy stories reflecting a depth of subject matter knowledge, and identify opportunities for telling stories on multiple platforms.Reporting Strategy amp; Vision: Work with editors to identify topics for reporting in alignment with an America First brand voice.Quality Control: Ensure all published content meets high journalistic standards and aligns with the Daily Caller/Daily Caller News Foundation brand.Relationship Management: May act as a public face of the newsroom, engaging with readers, sources, and industry experts.Qualifications:The candidate should be a strong problem-solver and be a detail-oriented individual with proven writing skills. They should work naturally within a team environment as well as possess the ability to work with little supervision as needed.
