Position Title:Fundraising Assistant / Event PlannerLocation:Washington, D.C. (with travel as needed)Employment Type:Full-TimePosition OverviewThe Freedom Caucus Foundation is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Fundraising Assistant / Event Planner to support the organization’s donor development and event operations. This role will assist in executing fundraising campaigns, coordinating high-impact events, and maintaining strong relationships with donors and supporters.The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced political environment, is proactive, and is committed to advancing conservative, limited-government principles.Key ResponsibilitiesFundraising SupportAsist with donor outreach, follow-ups, and relationship managementMaintain and update donor databases and CRM systemsDraft donor communications, invitations, and thank-you messagesSupport digital and direct mail fundraising campaignsTrack contributions and prepare fundraising reportsEvent Planning amp; ExecutionCoordinate logistics for fundraising events (dinners, receptions, donor briefings)Manage vendor relationships (venues, catering, AV, security)Oversee guest lists, RSVPs, and seating arrangementsAssist with on-site event execution and troubleshootingCoordinate travel and scheduling for speakers and VIP guestsAdministrative amp; Operational SupportManage calendars and scheduling for fundraising activitiesAssist with budgeting and expense tracking for eventsPrepare briefing materials and event run-of-show documentsEnsure compliance with applicable fundraising and reporting regulationsQualifications1–3 years of experience in:Fundraising, political campaigns, or nonprofit developmentEvent planning or hospitalityStrong organizational and multitasking skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, NGP, or similar) preferredAbility to work evenings and weekends for events as neededPreferred TraitsDetail-oriented and highly dependableComfortable interacting with high-level donors and stakeholdersStrong political awareness and alignment with the mission of the Freedom Caucus FoundationAbility to remain calm under pressure and solve problems quicklyCompensation amp; BenefitsCompetitive salary (based on experience)Opportunities for advancement within political fundraisingExposure to high-level policy and political leadersHow to ApplyInterested candidates should submit:ResumeBrief cover letter outlining interest in the role and relevant experience
