Position: Digital Media Coordinator Location: Young America’s Foundation’s National Headquarters / Reston, Virginia Opening: Immediate Mission: Young America’s Foundation (YAF) is committed to ensuring that increasing numbers of young Americans understand and are inspired by the ideas of individual freedom, a strong national defense, free enterprise, and traditional values. Reports To: Digital Director Job Summary: Young America’s Foundation has an immediate opening for a digital media coordinator to help engage and cultivate YAF’s audience across multiple platforms. The coordinator will use a data-driven approach to build YAF’s digital following and to communicate our message effectively. The coordinator will work closely with the digital media team to manage and produce content across multiple platforms, including YouTube, X, Instagram, and Facebook. The coordinator will proactively create content that appeals to YAF’s audiences, informed by algorithmic data, and increase our following across all platforms. The coordinator will also work with the broader YAF team to showcase the impact of the YAF’s programs. Responsibilities include:Work with the digital team to develop strategies to build YAF’s following across all platformsUse analytical data to craft effective messagingWork with the YAF team to publish timely, rapid response content related to YAF’s missionCreate posts for publication across all platformsStay informed of current digital trends in the Conservative Movement and the greater business communityKeep up-to-date with the news cycle to post relevant YAF content.Assist with in-person YAF programs, at schools and at conferences, meeting with students and cultivating contactsOther duties as assignedOccasional travel will be required. This is not a remote position. The candidate is required to work full-time at YAF’s National Headquarters in Reston, Virginia. This is representative of the expectations of the position described.
